Glen Close Camping option no longer available

The Glen Close Camping layaway plan is no longer available for purchase, indicating somewhat of a demand for Super Ball IX tickets only 24 hours after being put on sale. It’s unknown how many Glen Close Camping layaway tickets were made available initially, but you may want to reserve a spot in this camping area sooner than later, just to be safe.

Glen Close Camping offers camping on a field located within the race track at Watkins Glen International that is close to the concert venue. Bathroom and shower facilities inside this camping area will make the weekend a little more comfortable for some. There is also a separate entrance as opposed to the General Camping area.

Phish's Super Ball IX Festival Will Be Capped at 60,000

According to a tweet from Watkins Glen International president, Michael Printup, Super Ball IX’s attendance will be capped at 60,000. “TheGlenPrez” noted there was an agreement with the county to put a cap on the Phish festival. Printup answered the question about attendance tweeted to him from funkydanceparty.

The bad news is there is no hope of coming close to the 600,000 in attendance for “Summer Jam at Watkins Glen” in 1973 which holds the record for the largest audience at a pop festival…not that was ever a chance of occurring.
